The Modern World History textbook is full of facts and information. It is a good source to study from and helpful in finding the answers to most of the posted questions. If the answers still seem unclear, the Internet is another helpful source.
I believe the answer to Question 2 is...A republic is a political system in which citizens rule through representatives.
